WINGIT: Goodbye to the General!

As promised we wriggled our way back into Ulduar, and after taking our time clearing all the trash we eventually got to General Vezax.
Turns out we only needed the one ranged person so it was pretty much a mindless tank and spank. Vezax, down easily.

Next up we have the Mighty Yogg-Saron, We had a good 7 attempts at this making progress in different forms the whole time, learning our mistakes and adjusting our tactic.
For example on our first try both Zaifon and I went into the brain and pushed into phase 3 on the first try, however the adds that spawn in phase 3 hit me in the face, hard and I got rather squished. It was then decided I would go as tank for the encounter.

Though on our second try we instantly realised there was something up with the fight, it kept saying some tentacles were out of range, and when you got picked up by the Constrictor tentacle you were also out of range for heals, now that's not so bad but when it dies it throws you up into the air and you lose around 80% health from fall damage, and on multiple occasions we were picked up immediately as we landed by a secondary Constrictor, thus rendering us dead when it decided to also throw us up into the air.
Akaize contacted a GM and the GM confirmed the fight was not working as intended but it should be fixed well, today! Patch day. Well I'm not sure if they have fixed it, we need to venture back inside. However, what he did claim was if it isn't working by today then it wont be until the next patch that they fix it.
Ah, Ulduar is wriggling it's way out of a kill!

Since we had to give up on Ulduar for the time being we figured we would trek off to Naxxaramas, Should be easy if we've cleared most of Ulduar without any major problems, mind you I think we assumed we could few man it even back in Wotlk, just never went because to be blatantly fair, it's a terribly dull and boring place.
Zaifon suggested we should go for Kel'thuzad first, Since he would technically be the 'Final boss'.
This of course means killing Sapphiron prior to that, so we went in a spent a face-palming 13 mins on the fight, Sure enough Sapphiron went down. We had to do this 25man of course or it would've been even more boring.. in theory, of course we failed to think that 25 man means he has more health and thus spent even more time in there.
I spent most of the fight trying to swat Akaize and Zaifon with Sapphiron's knockback tail swipe, the only interesting thing I could come up with doing in the encounter.
It was mind-numbing.
No screenshot because it's Rubbish and no form of achievement what-so-ever!

So we went for Kel, but for some messed up reason at the end of Phase 1 where the very boring and very long of constant onslaught of his 'minions' happens, Both he and all the adds just despawned.. "I JUST SPENT 5 BLOODY MINS DOING NOTHING FOR HIM TO BUGGER OFF? I AM NOT DOING THAT AGAIN!" Sure enough, We up and left there.

Since we got the [Heroic Key to the Focusing Iris], (The key for Malygos if you are unaware.) Dragons were on our mind. We did discuss trying Malygos but I personally thought we wouldn't have the dps to beat the enrage. We then jested about going for Halion and eventually settled for trying Sartharion.

Sartharion is a very easy fight it's basically just tank and spank and avoid the fire walls, Yeah that's totally doable it was doable with less than 10 in wotlk, no problems but at least we have it for the record book.
But no, of course the guys wanted to go for Sarth+3! Now I'm not one to argue and I too would've loved to be able to 3man that encounter so we went for it, first try we got him to 20%, with me clad in dps gear and spec, of course at 20% (which we forgot completely) Sartharion enrages and so do all the adds, we had Tenebron up and together they killed me with ease.
Okay so I'm going to have to swap to tank I thought, but instead Akaize went tank and Zaifon and I just zerged, we got him to 5%, this is definitely the tactic we were going to pursue.
Zaifon decided he wanted to taunt Tenebron when we hit the 20% enrage and kite him away before ping-pong taunting him with akaize, whilst I killed Sartharion, it went well we got tries with 3%-1% left, but it was just cutting it short.
In the end I decided to take Tenebron and just piss off with him leaving the other two to kill Sarth, Sure enough first try of that tactic he went down. So that's definitely the key in the future.

Zaifon is now the proud owner of the [Reins of the Black Drake]!
We will be hopping back there next week to get one for Akaize too :D

We still had a bit of time left and with mounts on the mind we decided to nip off to Onyxia for a try at her rare mount [Reins of the Onyxian Drake]. Personally I've never seen this mount drop, it would definitely be a nice addition to any one's collection.
We've killed Onyxia plenty of times back at 70, when she was level 60 so we already knew she would be incredibly easy, we just never thought about going.
So here's our first of many kills of Onyxia, Wish us the best of luck on grabbing one of these rare mounts!
